Thompson is Helping to Drive Away the Cold!
On October 15, 2021 The Thompson Organization delivered over 200 coats to Willow Grove YMCA, Tabor Children’s Services Inc., and Bucks County Children and Youth. The coats were part of a program called Driving Away the Cold, organized by Auto Dealers CARing for Kids and Auto Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia. These coats are made available to children in our community who need coats for the upcoming winter season.
The Thompson Organization partners with Auto Dealers CARing for Kids – a nonprofit organization composed of 190 auto dealers doing good in Greater Philadelphia. This year, the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation’s New Coat Program hit a major milestone this fall by distributing 500,000 brand-new winter coats to area children in need.
“We are proud to have participated in the *Driving Away the Cold* program for the past eight years,” said John Thompson, Vice President of The Thompson Organization. “It’s humbling to have the opportunity to touch the lives of local children directly, and to fulfill a need that is often taken for granted.”
